Sapa tough trek-different route

Sapa is most beautiful in spring. Apricot, plum and cherry flowers are splendidly beautiful. Markets are crowded and merry, and are especially attractive to visitors. Minority groups come here to exchange and trade goods and products. Market sessions are also a chance for locals to promenade and young men and women in colorful costumes to meet, date or seek sweethearts.

Itinerary

Day 1: Get started

Picked up at the your hotel in Hanoi, transferred to the railway station catching night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train(4-berth soft sleeper cabin).

Day 2: Lao Cai -Sapa - Lao Chai - TaVan(B, L, D)

Trek: 5 hours/14 km/3 villages

Arrive at Lao Cai station early in the morning, picked up by our guide then transferred to Sapa. 8.00, have breakfast and take a rest before being transferred by jeep to the point where we start to trek downhill. Cross the Muong Hoa River at the bottom of Muong Hoa Valley reaching the either side then have picnic lunch. Visit 3 villages of H'mong and Dzay people then leave for Ta Van Village. Overnight in Ta Van, dinner with your hosts.

Day 3: Ta Van - Ban Ho(B, L, D)

Trek: 7 hours/18 km/3 villages

Breakfast and wave your hospitable hosts goodbye. We have a long, hard way ahead to go. However, there will also be much to see ahead; breathtaking terraced paddy fields endless forests of green bamboos, soaring waterfalls and so on will make travelers' tiredness fade away. After reaching Giang Ta Chai Village and see how Dzao people live, we cross May bridge heading toward Ban Ho Village where we will be welcome by Tay hosts. Dinner ans overnight in Ban Ho.

Day 4: Ban Ho - Sapa(B, L, D)

Trek: 3 hours/7 km

Breakfast with the family and leave the village for a waterfall discovered by French people. Enjoy the view, swimming and get back to Ban Ho to " further study" the Tay People and their subculture. Say goodbye to your hosts and walk to the main road where to take a jeep back to Sapa. Lunch on the way, dinner in Sapa. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Sapa - Laocai Station - Hanoi(B, L, D)

Breakfast, free to see the little town of Sapa in the morning. Check out at noon. Have Lunch then free. Dinner before being

transferred to Lao Cai Train Station for night train back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at around 5:00 AM. Tour comes to an end.
