Mai Chau Trekking-still bookable

This is one of the most popular program for Mai Chau trekkers. Honestly, the program offers a balance of culture and adventure in the northeast vally of Maichau which is well know for sublime landscapes, frendly and helpful people, unique local lifestyle. When in Mai Chau, you can help admiring the untouched beauty of the land and its local Thai girls in their tradittional wearing who are long the region's specialities. Below is the itinerary in details.

Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau

Leave Hanoi at 8.00PM heading westwards to Hoa Binh City(2 hours) where we stop for refreshments. After Hoa Binh,we travel uphill towards Mai Chau.

That will take another 2 hours. Stop enroute for Lucnh and enjoy, take pictures of the sublime beauty of mountains forest on the road sides. We reach Mai Chau late in the afternoon. Join a local home for dinner and overnight there.

Day 2: Xo village - Poong Coong  Village

Breakfast will be followed by our 14 km trek for the day. walk around the Thai villages enjoy the relaxing surroundings of Ban Lac village. Have lunch .

Afternoon, we begin at Xo village then back down into the Mai Chau valley to Poong Com village have dinner and sleep on traditional stilt house.

Day 3: Mai Chau - Hanoi

This morning we offer you some minutes to wander arround around Lac village before starting heading back to Hanoi. We will stop in Hoa Binh Again to see the Southeast asia biggest hydroelectric Station, have lunch and start again. We arrive in Hanoi at 18.00.
